Revani is a semolina-based cake sweetened with syrup. It is also known as ‘basbousa’, ‘shamali’, ‘ravanija’ and ‘samali’.
It is usually prepared for celebrations and festivities, decorated with desiccated coconut and ground pistachios, best served with whipped cream and ice cream.
Ideal for sale in cafes, restaurants and for retail by the kilo. Also suitable for functions.
